February 26th: Witness!

When we’re baptized, God calls us to be witnesses to our faith. See how the Power of the Cross and the Victory of the Passion can strengthen our life of faith this Lent. All are invited to attend one of these sessions.

The afternoon session will be led by Father Ralph, our pastor
The evening session will be led by Vince Buzzeo, our Youth Minister and Meg Westfall, our Director of Religious Education

March 4th: The second of our mini-retreat days will be led by Sister Susan Smolinsky, who coordinates our ministry to the elderly and homebound. Sister Susan will lead both the afternoon and the evening reflection. Her reflection on Atonement and Life will prepare us for the coming celebration of Good Friday and Easter.

Saint Brigid's Lenten Spanish Retreat

In the Spanish Community
Fridays in Lent we continue with “retreat nights” in Spanish.
Friday, Feb 29th "La importancia del Bautismo en la Comunidad" (The importance of Baptism in the community)
Friday, March 7th: "Del Perdón al Amor"
(Forgiveness which leads to Love)
Friday, March 14th: "Perseverar en el Seguimiento de Cristo".
(Persevere in Following Christ)
Each night begins at 8pm in the chapel and includes the “Way of the Cross”.
These prayers will be in Spanish.

In the Haitian Community
• Saturdays in Lent
In addition to the Way of the Cross
each Friday night at 6pm,
the Haitian Community gathers for a time of prayer each Saturday in Lent at 7pm in the Chapel in the school. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will also be celebrated each Sunday afternoon between 2 and 2:30pm in the church.
These prayers will be in Kreyol.

In the Italian Community
