Day Seven • Wadowice • Zakopane

We began the day in the boyhood home of Pope John Paul II in the church where he was baptized. The name of the town is Wadowice.

We then went to Zakopane in the highlands where we had a chance to purchase native crafts and to sample local food for lunch.

There was a stop off on the way home back the shrine of the Divine Mercy -- today the site was abandoned (compared to the day before).

We celebrated mass at the Padre Pio altar.
