John Dunne, Auxiliary Bishop, visited St. Brigid's on the weekend of October
6th & 7th.
Members
of Youth@SaintBrigid participated in "Eyes Wide Open", an exhibition
of the human cost of war.
This was part of the 75th Anniversary Celebration of Westbury Village.
Eighth graders from St. Brigid/Our Lady of Hope School attended an opening
of the school year retreat.

We
celebrated a special mass of Anointing of the Sick during the Easter Season.
Some
of our newest altar servers were recently installed.
We
blessed all the mothers on Mother's Day.
The
"Saint Brigid Lenten Players" present a skit at each family mass
during lent.
Youth@SaintBrigid
held their "SouperBowl" Sunday and collected hundreds of cans
of soup for hungry people.
Three
of our Confirmation classes stayed awake overnight to raise money for programs
for homeless people. They raised over $2,000.
One
of our Confirmation classes held a bake sale to support the Interfaith Nutrition
Nework.
The
"Holy Family" made an appearance at the Italian Mass on Epiphany.
