During one of the coldest weeks
of the year (wind chill temps at 10 below zero!) a group of Vincentian
Seminarians led by our Deacon Jesus Guadarrama and Father George, along
with members of St. Brigid's Spanish Young Adult Group, made the
rounds early each morning to visit day laborers who braved the cold as
their waited for contractors to hire them. The team from St. Brigid's
brought coffee, muffins and warm clothing donated by parishioners.
In the evening the group went to area laundromats to talk with members of the community and to invite them to become part of St. Brigid's parish and the Young Adult Group.
