On Wednesday, August 6th 2008 (the Feast of the Transfiguration),
the Westbury Village Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously approved the use of our Convent Building for Westbrook Preparatory School -- a residential school for 24 children with Asperger Syndrome.

Thank you to all who came out to support this project and for all who were praying for its success.

NEXT STEPS....

We now wait to hear from NY State for final funding approval and we need to finalize the lease agreement throough the diocesan lawyer.

Once the lease is signed, the building will undergo a one-year renovation before it opens as a school.
