Deacon Emeritus
Phil Matheis
died on Ash Wednesday 2008.
We celebrated his funeral mass with his family and many who served with
him over the years. Deacon Phil was among the first permanent deacons
to be ordained for the Diocese of Rockville Center.
May he rest in peace.
