Charismatic Transition
On Tuesday, October 21st, 2008, Father Ralph and Father Jaime concelebrated
a bi-lingual charismatic mass with the
English-speaking and Spanish-speaking
Charismatic prayer groups. The Spanish group has outgrown its current
prayer space in the Teen Center and will now be praying the chapel in
the weeks ahead. The English group is moving to the school library for
their weekly prayer meetings (8pm Tuesday evenings).
The English group has been praying in the chapel for over 30 years and
the current leader Gloria Gregory spoke to all at the Mass about passing
on the room to the Spanish community. Yanira Elias, a leader in the Spanish
prayer group, spoke to all about our unity in the Holy Spirit and promised
to continue the legacy of prayer in the chapel on Tuesday nights.
