On Monday, we went to the town of Santa Tecla to the Divine Providence Home for Boys and Girls. Many had been abandonded or rescued from dangerous situations.
Some of us were VERY popular with the girls.
"Padre Rafael" and his friend Rafael.
Two of the residents.
It's easy to make friends.
While we were there we noticed that the basketball rims had rusted off. So members of our group purchased and installed two new backboards and rims.
Watching a basketball game.
No language barrier here!
The children put on a show for us.
Lots of love to share.

Our meals at this home were often prepared on this
wood-burning stove.

Training a new video generation.
It only rained once during the day (the night was a different story). Except for adversely affecting an itsey bitsey spider, it did not dampen our spirits.
