Think of fourteen families that you know (not including your own)

Now imagine that these fourteen families own all the businesses and all the houses and all the vacant land on Long Island (or wherever you are from.)

Your family owns NOTHING.

In order for your family to get some money, you must work for one of the fourteen families.
None of the fourteen families will pay you more than $5 a day for your work.

They also charge you for rent to live in the house you are in.
