Dear Friends,

The "Christmas Rush" has begun in the stores. Come to a place of peace and serenity to re-discover the true "reason for the season."

Reach out to people in your life who need to experience the comfort, serenity and faith that our parish family offers. Invite them to come with you not only on Christmas, but also throughout the weeks ahead so that the strengthening message of Advent can be part of all our lives.

We will keep you and your loved ones in our prayers during this special time and look forward to celebrating with you as the grace and peace of God dwells within us.

Fr. Ralph & the Staff of St. Brigid's!

"THE OPLATEK"

St. Brigid's will offer the Breaking of the Christmas wafer known as the Oplatek. The breaking of the Christmas wafer comes from an old Polish tradition that families and friends share before Christmas Eve dinner. The Christmas Wafer is a thin piece of bread that tastes like the communion hosts we receive at the Eucharist and often referred to as the Bread of Angels. The bread reminds us of Our Lord's Nativity in Bethlehem which is the "House of Bread." Stop by the Parish Center to pick the "Oplatek" A small offering is requested.
