The Apostles go to Galilee because God wanted them to. (What the angels say!!)

Mark: "But go and tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him, as he told you.'"

Matthew: "Then go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He has been raised from the dead, and he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him.'
