  2. Help Others
Remember that your "community service" doesn't end with Confirmation. There are a lot of ways that young people can serve others the way Jesus wants them to.
                 
   

Some ideas...

1) If you like to work outdoors perhaps you could consider helping an elderly neighbor with raking leaves, shoveling snow, mowing the lawn, some gardening or sweeping his/her walkway or sidewalk free of charge.



2) Mom and Dad are always busy around the house. Try to give a hand once in a while showing that you are a caring member of the family and want to help out with the house chores.

3) Are you an older brother or sister? Your younger siblings sometimes need your encouragement and help. Maybe they need a hand with homework or some other activity. Why not be the older brother or sister and give a hand?
