What’s Essential

Sharing Technical Help
Over the past few months we’ve received donations of used computers from a few companies and some individuals. The task ahead of us is to inspect these machines and prepare the “good ones” for use and to discern which have “seen their day”.
There are many people in our parish with thekind of knowledge that would help us out.
If you, or someone you know, has the knowledge and time to help us inventory our stock of used computers, please e-mail Father Ralph and he’ll give you a tour of the job ahead.

We’re also still looking for camera operators for the 5pm Saturday masses at St. Brigid’s. If you’re in 8th grade or older and you’re skilled in video games, this is the perfect opportunity for you to share your time and talent too

At College?
At St. Brigid’s we like to stay in touch through
e-mail “letters from home.”
Once a person has an e-mail address at school (or if he/she uses a personal address), please let us know what it is so we can include them when we write.
Here's a handy college link so you can send this info online.

Last week I invited you to consider what were the priorities for St. Brigid’s Parish. Our Pastoral Council had been reflecting on our parish life and had come up with eight priorities that they believe are important to our parish life, I promised this week to share with you their priority list.

But it’s essential to know whether this representative group of parishioners has clearly discerned our priorities and the only way we knew to find out is to ask everyone to look at the list and give some feedback.
First, is there anything missing from the list? Then, what do you like about this list of priorities? Would you change anything? (The order of priorities? The wording?) Would you take anything off the list?

This is a very important exercise because in the months ahead we will be developing strategies to further live out the parish priorities and if we’re about to put energy and effort into growing, it’s essential that we’re growing in the right direction.

So, please take some time to give us feedback. You can do it quickly and easily
by clicking here
Your input will help our council and our staff to be responsive to the hopes and needs of our whole parish community.

Whether you’ve just come to our parish or whether you’ve been here for generations, we value your input. And I’d like to ask you to do a favor: Could you ask three other people to read the priorities and give some feedback? You can clip the page from today’s bulletin and show it to others or if you use e-mail, you can e-mail them our special priorities link and ask them to visit it.

Just send them this link in your e-mail: "http://www.saintbrigid.net/pascoun/pc.html"

I want to thank the members of our council who are working so hard to help forge the future of our parish and I thank you for your input.
