"May you be granted
the breadth and the length
the height and the depth
of the fullness of God."

We thank and we love you, Fr. Frank.
We will miss you!

*Please note:

The regular 5:00 PM Saturday Mass is moved to the School on June 9th. Because of the parking, traffic flow and crowds expected at Fr. Frank's liturgy at 6:30 PM in the Church on June 9, we are moving the regular 5:00 PM Mass from the Church to Our Lady's Chapel in the School just on that day. We are grateful to the 5:00 Mass PM Community for their cooperation. Please follow the directions of the auxiliary police for parking directions.

At 12:00 noon on June 14, 1989 our new pastor, Fr. Frank Gaeta arrived in St. Brigid's Parish. It did not take long to know him, love him and respect him. We all know that there are not enough pages to describe in words our love for this wonderful priest . . . this extraordinary human being . . . who has blessed us for these past twelve years. Fr. Frank has taught us by his example not only to love life, to love Jesus and to love one another but to always celebrate and rejoice in that love. It is with sadness that we bid Fr. Frank adieu, but it is with tremendous gratitude that we celebrate our love for Fr. Frank as he leaves us to go to Sts. Cyril and Methodius. Join your Parish Family on this very momentous occasion . . .

HOLY HOUR TO HAPPY HOUR WITH FR. FRANK

Saturday June 9, 2001
6:30 PM Liturgy in the Church
Party to follow in Code Auditorium

It is not a surprise that the response to Fr. Frank's Farewell Liturgy and Party has set a precedent in St. Brigid's History! The people of St. Brigid's have spoken of their love and affection for our dear Frank by the hundreds of tickets that were distributed!

*Just a few things that need to be mentioned . . .

1. The Auxiliary Police will be directing the traffic flow and parking at both the Church (for the Mass) and at the School (for the party.) PLEASE follow their direction.

2. The Outdoor speakers of the Church will be on during the ENTIRE Mass so that the liturgy can be heard on the Green. Holy Communion will be distributed to everyone who wishes to receive—outside & inside! If you can not get into the church or you choose to stay outside, please bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to be comfortable.

3. The 5:00 PM Mass on June 9 will be celebrated in the school to ease the parking and to give us time to properly prepare for the 6:30 liturgy. See note on your left.*

4. We are depending on the baked goods for Fr. Frank's party. Please remember to drop them off at the school between 2:00 and 4:00 PM at Code Auditorium June 9th. The "Dessert Team" will be there to receive the baked goods.

5. Weather permitting, we are planning to use both the inside of Code Auditorium as well as the outside school grounds for the party. For this reason, THERE WILL BE NO PARKING IN THE FRONT LOT OF ST. BRIGID'S SCHOOL . Parking will be available in the side lot of the school, in the Drexel Ave. School lot and in the municipals lots on either side of Maple Ave.

6. Ride the Shuttle Bus! If you wish to park your car at the school where the party will be held, you may take a free shuttle bus operating from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and again at the end of the liturgy to bring you back to the party in the School lot. The bus will begin its route from the side school lot, picking up people along the way as it shuttles to the church.

7. To all liturgical ministries! We know you will be tired after this great celebration, but please remember that the masses need to covered on Sunday, June 10th if you are assigned! Thank you!
